Bottled still and\/or sparkling water is also 72 percent of Americans\u2019 preferred non-alcoholic beverage, an increase of nine percent over 2018. For those who prefer <a href=\"https:\/\/trircoffee.com\/beverages.php\">bottled water<\/a>, taste is the most important feature (98 percent) followed by quality (98 percent), and safety (90 percent).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With 84 percent\nof San Diego residents trying to drink more water, and the hot summer season\nupon us, let\u2019s take a step back and look at fun summer beverages that often\nbegan as flat or carbonated water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>lemonade: water, lemon juice, and a sweetener, to taste<\/li><li>iced tea: water, tea, and a sweetener, if desired<\/li><li>fruit\/veggie\/herb-infused water: water plus any combination such as strawberry &amp; lime, lemon &amp; basil, strawberry &amp; basil, lemon &amp; raspberry, and cherry      &amp; lime<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If none of\nthose flavor combinations sound appealing, consider choosing one or more of the\nfollowing fruits and vegetables that are in-season in the San Diego area: mint,\nblueberries, apricots, kiwi, cherries, cucumbers and peaches. There are also a\nnumber of different ways to infuse the water with the flavors of your\nchoice.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/trircoffee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/resized1AdobeStock_106173228-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"bottled water in san diego break rooms\" class=\"wp-image-410\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trircoffee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/resized1AdobeStock_106173228.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/trircoffee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/resized1AdobeStock_106173228-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/trircoffee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/resized1AdobeStock_106173228-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You might try\nsqueezing a bit of the juice from citrus fruit (ex. lime, lemon or orange) into\na glass or pitcher of water and enjoying. Depending on the size of the\ncontainer, sliced or chopped fruit can be placed at the bottom of a pitcher or\nglass and soaked overnight (pitcher) or for a couple hours (glass). Berries can\nbe mashed and placed at the bottom of a glass, and the glass filled with water.\nFor herbs, such as mint leaves, tear up the leaves, cover them in water, and\nlet the water steep.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The number of\nflavor combinations and preparation methods are limitless, but not everyone\nwill have the option or want to prepare a water-based beverage.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While almost\nthree-quarters of Americans voted bottled water as their first choice, don\u2019t\nforget about other popular beverages. Sixty-one percent of those polled ranked\ncoffee in second place and soft drinks in third with 59 percent.
